Remote Life and Health Insurance Agent

Dinwiddie Agency seeks a Remote Insurance Agent to help individuals and families secure the coverage they need. In this fully remote role, you'll generate and follow up on leads, assess client needs, and recommend life, health, and related insurance products. You'll present quotes, complete digital applications, and provide ongoing policy support while meeting clear production goals. Success in this position requires strong phone and online communication skills, self-discipline, and comfort working independently. Training on products, tools, and compliance standards will be provided, with advancement potential based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new insurance clients through phone, email, and virtual meetings
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate life, health, and supplemental insurance products
• Explain policy options, coverage details, and pricing in clear, client-friendly terms
• Prepare quotes, complete applications, and submit accurate digital paperwork
• Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and follow-ups using CRM tools
• Provide ongoing policy service, including updates, renewals, and basic claims guidance
• Meet or exceed individual sales and activity targets while working remotely
• Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements
• Adhere to all state and federal insurance regulations and privacy standards
• Collaborate with agency leadership to refine sales strategies and share best practices
